Accessible stays

Unfortunately due to the nature of our historic buildings none of our bedrooms are wheelchair friendly.

Our Disabled Access Policy explains how we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our guests and visitors through a policy of continuous monitoring and improvement of our facilities and training for our staff.

Dog-friendly stays

Some – but not all – of our rooms can accommodate two well-behaved pups.

About your doggy stay:

  • Your four-legged friend is welcome in all areas of the hotel, apart from our restaurant.
  • You are welcome to dine with your pooch in our hotel bar. Please speak to a member of our team to request this.
  • We love dogs just as much as their fellow humans so be sure to make the most of our doggy treats scattered around the hotel.
  • All dog-friendly stays must be pre-booked so we can make sure you have the best bedroom for your stay. Please speak to a member of our team for advice on what rooms can accommodate your pooch before making a booking.

We ask just one thing in return: please consider the comfort of other humans, keeping your dog on a lead where necessary and being sure to calm them if they become a bit excited!

Dog-friendly bedrooms need to be pre-booked; a fee of £20.00 applies for each pup (maximum of two dogs per room).

Family-friendly stays

Families are welcome. Our Bromley and Seymour rooms can be interconnected to sleep two adults and two children (up to the age of 14). We also have two Deluxe Double Rooms which can fit an additional bed. A cot with bedding can also be added to these rooms if required. Please call 01566 783222 to book a Family Bedroom: all our rooms are individual and we’ll help you find the best one for your family dynamic.

There is a supplement of £40.00 per additional guest, per night, plus an extra £20.00 for a second additional guest, per night. This includes a Full English Breakfast. We don’t have a children’s dinner menu, but if you would like a menu adapted for little appetites, then we can certainly accommodate.

Sustainable stays

Green tourism

We understand the importance of our responsibility for future generations and how the choices we make at Lewtrenchard Manor, if they're not environmentally driven, could affect this.

As a business, we don't do 'green' by halves; we're evolving our operations to protect our natural environment from any adverse effects our hotel could have.

We believe that making conscious changes, implementing them in every aspect of your stay and actively seeking out more ecological choices is more about the journey than the destination. This is why we're proud to say that we've taken our first steps towards adopting a smart, sustainable outlook from top to bottom, showcasing efficient and eco-friendly decisions.

Follow us as we shift into the green tourism space. For now, take a closer look at the policies and processes we've already implemented to be kinder to our planet.
